To all expert appraisal and domain gurus,

Please appraise this name for me

www.landpurchase.com

OVT count of 636 w/o ext, NO links. NO PR. Google results 1-10 gives 196,000.

I paid quite a hefty $$$ for this name from POOL. Tell me it is worth it. I saw it going for $300++ on namewinner but pool got it in the end.

Thanks

Any thought on how should i develop this? or market it?

It's hard to guess the end user value, but at least low $xxxx. It should get type-ins despite not having Overture w/ extension numbers. I'd offer it for sale and park it at a PPC place for a while and see what it brings in. Developing it would only help if you can really develop it as a "land purchase" site. I would think that a big realty company might want this domain.

cheers.....

Now i am glad that i update my CC info to allow POOL to get the name. :) But i am also sure someone in this forum might say REG fee?? I really do not know.

Frankly, i've just listed it on sedo and probably will open an account on afternic to see if i get any interest.

Lastly, i'll be more than happy to have it developed but as of my web designing skill which is very very limited maybe some better web designer might want to help develop this name and get a share if it sells or do well?

A big relieve :)

Good name for the legal/finance/paperwork side of things. Not so good for building a portal of ‘land for sale’ IMO, purchaseland.com would be nicer for that.

Personally it think you paid a fair price (assuming you paid around +/- NW bid).

Good Luck

:) encouraging words are always pleasant to hear.

BTW, purchaseland has also been regged on 4th Feb 2005. 2 whois history. I wondered if the person got it from POOL or somewhere? His ICANN registrar is "enamco"

Also, landpurchase.net is still available and i wonder if anyone is interested?

Cheers

Do not waste your money on .net . Let someone else do it. Then contact them and offer to sell your .com

If you invested some money for the .com version, I think you should IMMEDIATELY get the .net version.

Ity is much easier to sell as a package, and to be frank, what another 7, 8, or 10 $ going to do after this purchase?

I have so many times regreted NOT getting the .net of some of my names.
