Of Possible Interest: eNom Reseller Fined and Banned

Martin here, your domain account ETP. You may have heard that there have
been ongoing problems with some registrars who do not allow domains to
be transferred away to eNom without forcing us and / or our clients to
undertake multiple verification steps.

This is due to (some) eNom resellers abuse of whois data info and their
snail mailing of "renewal" notices. One company we have had numerous
complaints about here is the "Domain Registry of Canada" whose letters
were dressed to look like they originate with the Canadian Government.
