I believe you can just park the name and under noi obligation to sell, as per the FAQ below.

There is a option for Park name but not for sale at AfterNic.com
You can try to use it.

Hello everyone,
If you wish to park, but not list your domains for sale:
1. Add the domains to our database (ie. effectively list them for sale)
2. Park your domains
3. Send us an email here at Sedo and we can set your account to parking only.

Then you will not receive any offers through the system.
