Not sure what it is worth but I'd know that I'd forward it to a worth while black community program/church if I owned it.

Thanks for the feedback. It's best suited to be rebranded, and it's definately memorable.
While it's not as good as aaa.org or xxx.org, it's certainly better than the majority of tripple letter.org's.

I appreciate the interest Rico, but I'm going to test the traffic prior to making any plans.
Unfortunately, I would not be interested in selling it for $2k though...

There is only one major association of the triple-k: the white supremacy (read: racist) organization known as Ku Klux Klan.

The letter K is one of the worst letters, ranking near the bottom as far as acronym use and value goes. There are very few good acronyms for even one letter K, let alone 2 or 3 k's.

The only value I can see is either as a ku klux klan website or for its novelty value. Can't see it being more than 1k except (unless it somehow gets good traffic) regarding the above two dubious use values. Sorry.

I don't agree, I judge acronyms for their overall effect; there are circumstances where a "bad" Q or X can be very effective. With regards to use, I'd see this being an anti-racist web site.

I have spent many hrs and even days researching K acronyms with little success. K sucks similar to the letter J and other bad letters for acronym use.

P.S. Once I went thru all the K pages of Websters Dictionary with poor success.

There are also a lot of K's in use as US radio stations and tv stations too.

I could always be wrong about K. Maybe it's better than my experience with it?

I'd value it lower than any triple letter .org simply as I would not want to be associated with the bad connotations.. $1k

Yeah, I think the stigma is just too strong here...
Didn't the KKK used to own this domain back in the early 1990s ?

Unfortunatly this is totally unbrandable due to the horrible usage of the letters over the years. ALso believe the group has the three letters TM so it can be used like that making them the only real brandable enduser.I cant see anyone branding themselves with this. There is some value but the only real enduser isnt somone you really want to sell this too. there really the only one who would pay anything for it and this is a case of the domainer should donate it or keep it and not sell to the natural enduer. Personally I would not touch this. Agaun I see some value but its limited.

This domain is impossible to be associated with anything other than the group which killed thousands of people because of the color of their skin. You are obviously proud of it since you've posted an appraisal request on every forum. Maybe you should buy ss.com too so you can become super racist. This domain is a liability, not an asset and will turn you as the owner into a target. The only way you can make money from it is to sell it to the klan which would make you the same as they are. You should turn it over to naacp.org and be done with it.

Not sure what all the talk is about "unbrandable" as it is already branded - well branded in the USA.

So use that to your advantage.

It could be a very substantial race-relations site. Just because it has negative connotations does not mean it did not happen and is not part of american history. This is an organization that got its starts shortly after the civil war.

having a history related site would not be a bad thing. For that reason, it has value BECAUSE it is already branded.

And I agree with the buyer, I would not take 2K for this. This is a gem in the sense of brandability. It just needs to be done in a positive manner and treated as such.
