I don't EVEN want to know how or why you know such a page exists!!!!

Could someone pls explain to me why such a high amount for this typo...I dont see the value in it as much as DaveZilla. I may be wrong but a more detail reasoning would be appreciated Dave. Thanks

Its highly targeted traffic. People typing Loan into a browser aren't looking for much else. They're directing traffic to their business which sells loans for even more profit.

You might also ask how can a business afford pay $6.00 per click on Yahoo for the "home loan" keywords?

because it's in their marketing budget

WE HAVE A WINNER Xedoc Holding SA

Just did some quick research and found the following

Recently acquired ProSports.com $75,000
Recently acquired Porker.com $155,000

They Own
Six.com
Milf.com

"Sarah" sold them Prosports.com on ebay...at one point he was pointing the domain to a little ppc page I made for it and it was making like $10/day with like 100 type-ins or so per day...

and they did not even delay the expiry date of the name? Come on....pay that reg fee till 2008 at least...

WOW! what an amazing price for a typo! worth it? who knows .... but sure seems a lot of wedge

Site now resolves to eloan.com !!!

guess thats the purchaser .. hell of a drop ...

* goes off to research try and a find a buyer for my typos !!!

parcle.com ( parcel) and recuitemnt.com ( recruitment ) on the latter u have no idea how many times a week i mistype that one as for the other just thick and cannot spell but check the google of it so its not just me ... its huge !

Anyways great day for someone ..

I too do not get the snap name thing .... Each week we look at the sales at dnjournal.com and some of the prices stagger me. They buy stuff that we would readily sell at the prices that it goes for ! why dont these guys ( or gals ) check out the forums and " snap" a bargain ?

As ever a domain is worth whatever anyone will pay for it and how much they want it ... so hang onto those good ones they may just come through with that mad offer
"one day"

Hey ho.... great? deal for someone ..

..

It resolves to an affiliate landing page of eloan so eloan.com is not the purchaser...

Is this really mean porker as pork...er or going after poker typo?

Porker is a poker typo .....Porker.com has a 163 Overture with extension

They bought Porker.com in May 2005 for $155,000

I still cannot understand how "porker" is a typo of poker...it's a whole extra "r" nowhere near any of the keys you type at that time...wtf

The same reason that PRON is a popular typo of Porn...

Either alot of Pirates hit Internet Porn "Rrrrrrrr"

Or

It's hard to type with one hand.

;)

LOL!!! Sorry, couldn't resist.

GoPc, "porn" and "pron" have nothing to do with "poker" and "porker". It's another story.

I don't know why "porker" is a typo, I can't figure it out aswell.
