 WOW, Sure is a nice way to end a sale

Congratulations to the Seller and ofcourse the Buyer too for a bargain pickup considering a couple of years down the line Names like these could be Priceless as Laptops are Rapidly growing in sales over the PCs around the world. Everybody wants a Laptop these days even if they don't know how to use one

... IMHO though, don't sell just yet. Wait for at least mid 2007

Well done think.... you buy the beer :)

Think, is this transaction close to being finalized?

I regret to inform DNF members that the sale did not go through. The buyer did not come through with the funds.

Luckily I did not count on the sale in relation to my finances.

I will not be re-auctioning the domain.

Thank you for your interest and support.

Great name. Congrats!

Stinks. Begs the idea of having a thread where we can add the names of the deadbeats that bid and don't pay at Sedo et al. Would be a long list.

Good idea Stoc - we should have our own list of shame. get the details from sedo & let's do this. for every payer i get a non-payer :undecided:
cheers

Do sedo offer the domain to the last highest bidder if the winner fails to come up with the money like snapnames etc?

Don't believe they do as policy. I did ask them about the second highest bidder on one of my auctions where the winning bidder never paid and was told the 2nd highest bidder was also banned.

Sedo really needs to start qualifying the buyers BEFORE they are allowed to bid. Get the credit card info etc.

I thought they were already screening the buyers? I think it's going to be worth sending an email to them to suggest giving someone the second chance option automatically after a non paying bidder, and to start closing ranks on the non paying bidders and actually start enforcing their 'legally binding contract' as thats what they state when you bid or put your domain up for sale with them!

Bad news for you Think and for .mobi...

But the sale was on Afternic and not on Sedo. I remember that 'PerfectNames' made the winning bid and that "well known mobi DNF'er" was outbid. The difference between the last two bids was about $ 500...

Maybe this "well known mobi DNF'er" is still interested????
