I keep hearing people on forums misusing the English language. I don't know if it's an unintentional slip of the tongue, or if they actually think what they're saying is right.

My two pet hates are:

"I could care less about what you think!!!1"

"Man that game is so addicting!"

My corrections:

"I couldn't care less about what you think!!!1"

"Man that game is so addictive!"


I hope people bear this in mind :wink:
 
The first one has always bothered me, too. The second one is ok.
 
I could care less that you could not understand my sentence.
However, making corrections to others english is so addicting.
