I actually got a good laugh from your reply. Please consider your sources of information -- a forum, a Chinese sourcing site and a calculator that does not actually calculate correctly. You can't believe everything you read on the internet.

Millicandelas is such a minute amount of light that it is really only used in scientific laboratories -- never in the commercial lighting. Even Thomas Edison's first lamp was probably tens of thousands of millicandelas. The performance, brightness or perceived brightness of an LED would be measured in lumens per watt. 1 Lumen = 1 candela = 1,000 millicandelas. Right now the average 1 watt LED from a manufacturer like CREE or Lumileds produces approximately 50 lumens per watt. NEVER would someone talk about one of these LED's as producing 50,000 millicandelas. Using Millicandelas to describe an LED is like measuring the distance from Earth to the Moon in inches or measuring the storage in one of Google's data centers in bytes.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just trying to tell you that I know what I am talking about and that this name is absolutely worthless.

Cool, I see your point in light power being measured in watts for most light sources!

NOT for LEDs!

But the fact is that most LEDs - almost all - that are sold are speced in Mcd at 20ma! I am talking from the Manufacturers and distributors and ALL electronic parts sales sources!

Look into buying a LED. They are speced by Light wavelength & Color, MCD, package, view angle, etc.

This is direct from the manufacturers! - the Manufacture Specs - For LEDS!

I know these facts because I have bought many different types of LEDs from many different manufacturers and distributors for many different projects that I have worked on.

The only place there are bulbs are in your garden... correct term is lamp.

I did not refer to an incandescent lamp anywhere in my post. I am talking LED.

Good luck with your sale. Maybe you can sell it to someone as an LLLLLL.com, but I still say it is worthless and makes no sense.
