Here's one I picked up from the drop tonight that might have some nice possibilities:

LiquidCrystal.org

Certainly would have been nice in .com or .net but it is taken in all other extensions. A lot of engineers involved in the technology so .org might work for some of the techie people involved.

Not only are all notebook computers using liquid crystal displays - it looks like the next big thing in TV with screens that you can hang on your wall. A High Definition Liquid Crystal display might even get me to start watching TV again!

Any thoughts on the worth of this name? For $7 I just couldn't leave it sitting there.

I agree and I would ve done the same.

.org is a little hard to move but the former component is invaluable - maybe a standards/spec's reference site?

Good luck.

I will have to learn more about it and see what would be the best angle to make it work optimally with the .org extension. Either that or put up a psychedelic music site - Liquid Crystal would have been a great 60's band name - right up there with Moby Grape or Chocolate Watchband!

I think around $300-500 given the .org

Great lead -RJ-. The perfect organization for liquidcrystal.org and the names is 100 times better than what they have ilcsoc.org. I just have to convince them of that!
