Ok, two of the domains I got snapbacks on got this put in their whois:

Domain not found locally, but Registry points back to local DB.
Local WHOIS DB must be out of date.

What does that mean? Have they gotten closer to being dropped?

Yes, I believe the change in the whois;

Domain not found locally, but Registry points back to local DB.
Local WHOIS DB must be out of date.

means the names will drop sometime within the next 7 days.
Good Luck!

Must mean so :-)

Coz I got:
SnapNames performed its Snap-Back function to register the
domain name *******.com on your behalf with
DomainPeople.

Ok, within 15 minutes snapnames snapped both of the domains. Oh well now I see the "disadvantage" with snapnames - have to start using two new registrars... Damn all these different accounts and passwords to keep track off :) Now I'm up to having 5 different registrars :/

Since the domains are safely yours now, why don't you share them with us? I, for one, always like to hear about great domains people have the good fortune to grab. :)

Could I see them too, beowulf? I haven't had any success with SnapNames so far, and I'm getting a bit discouraged. :)
