login problems thread

Simply put:

As of today only, Login doesnt remember me. I have to login each time with my 14+ character pw (no fun). But not only that, when I do login and of course choose "remember me" I get the splash screen saying "Welcome Jacksplat" but after that when redirected to the main page of dnf I am no longer logged in.

However, If I choose the "click here if your not immediately redirected" option I still end up not logged in. Only when I choose to enter the chatroom option am I able to stay logged in.. But...... If I should close the window I will need to do this whole song and dance once again.

I can live with it, as annoying as it is. I'm just informing you all.

I used to have that problem too, but not recently. Perhaps try disabling Java/Javascript the first time you login, to see if it makes any difference? (that's what I did, for some odd reason, and it worked)

It may be easier to debug if folks would include their browser and version (MSIE 6/7, FireFox 1.5/2/3, Opera, etc..)

P.S. No troubles at my end with MSIE 6/7, FireFox 2 and 3.x beta and Pocket IE on my mobile devices....

i can go to the index page, if not logged in and its ok, i log in and it says windows cant open, then a go to a page off the index and its ok and it says im logged in, weird

just started happening to me about 10 minutes ago.

The index page says I am not logged in. Subforum pages show me as logged in.

Also, on my IE browser at my office, 75% of the time the index page will keep reloading itself in a never ending loop. Frustrating. Need to keep it simple.
