Longtail EPC looking good so far

with all the doom and gloom talk about PPC rev declining and the pitfalls of parking, a few of my longtail names are earning nice EPC so far this month.

stats from Sedo:

27 letters 3 word .com > 6 4 66.67% $2.22 $8.86

19 letters 3 word .com > 3 1 33.33% $1.40 $1.40

14 letters 2 word .com > 9 3 33.33% $1.58 $4.75

16 letters 3 word .com > 6 1 16.67% $1.32 $1.32

19 letters 2 word .com > 2 1 50.00% $3.77 $3.77

19 letters 2 word .com > 8 1 12.50% $3.14 $3.14

14 letters 3 word .com > 8 2 25.00% $1.44 $2.87


looks like some advertisers are putting money back in PPC!

My domains parked at Sedo get about $0.06 per click on average. How do you get more than $1.00 per click?

i average overall about $0.12 per click at sedo, out of 600 names parked there.

i wish they all made more than $1.00 per click



i think i just got lucky on a few of them, as the EPC was particulary higher compared to previous months

As time goes by long tails get more and more valuable, as I predicted when I started reg'ing them ages ago. After all, the longer it is and the more words the more highly targeted the term becomes. Since it is so well targeted it only make sense the EPC would be good. Some of my good names are as long as 35 letters in front of the ext and 4 or more words long, and also get typeins.

and audubon, you do make > 12 cents per click with this name, almost 6x more.

Maybe so, but their is one problem with Parked.com's $1.00+ clicks.
