In today's job market sometimes we need to take a lesser paying career.Acquiring one may be the easy part. Accepting a low paying job may not be so easy. There are many low paying jobs available to the general public, and in many instances there is room for growth in the company which hires you. I have found that some people have taken a lower paying job than their used to and slowly moving up the ladder in the company. Over qualified people are a great asset to most firms, they handle pressure in the work place very well do to their over qualifications.Production workers are essential workers, and there are still many openings available in the food, medical and electronic/technology fields for people willing to work sometimes for quite a bit less than their used to.
Get an interview even though you know it pays less. Get to meet and speak with someone in the personnel office, you may find that the starting rate is lower paying but the growth you can make in the company may be even more than adequate for sustaining permanent employment and who knows, you may just like the career you choose! We can't wait or expect the economy to turn around as fast as it headed to the basement and that sure was fast so searching for something a little less may be just the answer !
