Making an offer thru AfterNIC?

I was trying to register a domain using enom. The domain was taken but there was a link "Make an offer for this domain using AfterNIC." This service costs $69. Is it worth it?

wrong section to post this, but to answer your question: No its not worth it. Email the guy directly by looking up the whois. If the domain has privacy protection just make and offer through sedo for free
