Not sure about that,
Marsgospel.com is probably the most expensive domain i ever bought, receiving an average of 4 daily uniques :-(

Truly sorry to hear that... nobody wants to overpay for a domain that doesn't perform. I've been there.

I'm surprised... It really does have a 10,000+ keyword type-in rate (OVT). How in the world can it only be receiving 4 uniques daily??

If that's the norm, it would re-define my whole valuation of OVT statistics.

hi markus,
that is strange! a lot of people must have been searching overture for this domain name and nobody is actually looking for the name? are your nameservers fully resolving?
best regards
nico

This Name is resolving proper since 27th of january, having between 2 and 6 uniques per day, most of them probably because of this thread.

Ok... so, I thought that OVT was how many times someone typed a phrase (in this case a domain w/ ext) into the search.

So, obviously, at some point (before) they searched, they tried typing it into the browser directly, right? If that logic is correct, then how in the heck can the OVT be that high if nobody is really typing the name in??

Overture occasionally gives crazy high results to names that make no sense. I've seen this happen before. Never buy a name on Overture numbers alone.

This told me Overture was likely giving false results:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&c2coff=1&sa=G&q="marsgospel.+com"

Not likely anyone will sell a name like that without testing it first. He knew it was worthless.

For the record ILD, I often sell very quickly when I would be satisfied with the NW bids from the previous day for the name. This name was caught and posted for sale next day. There are many members here that have recieved names from me the next day after godaddy or snapnames caught the name for me cheaply, and I resold the next day.

Sorry to hear that Keyworddomains.com.
