Is Media Options a good choice for brokerage? I get mailings from them with really outlandish prices for miscellaneous
domains - some of them quite good at 10% of their asking and others somewhat nondescript.

If it seems too good to be true it probably is, but I'm open to reviews

Hi

i haven't used media options, but they and Dan.com, have partnered to offer brokerage services.

imo...

MediaOptions has never brokered one of my domain names but they are a well respected domain brokers.

If they can deliver you what you would like in a timely manner, there's no reason not to let them try. I just wouldn't tie my domains up with them if I'm not getting results "promised". If they're wanting to broker 3, let them do 1 first. Then, decide whether you'd like to work with them more or not.

I tried them once, never again.

If you really want a broker, ask them specifically what they will do for you. Are they actually active in finding buyers, will they keep you up to date etc.

Most just hold your domains and take credit for a sale you would have gotten anyway or just throw you in their newsletter.
