Microsoft wanted one of my domains, and contacted me directly, and surprisingly nicely. I have no doubt they would have been less nice if I did not give in, but I gave them the domain. It was just parked. And I got some new contacts out of it, so I was satisfied. I cannot say the domain, sorry.

Gave, as in, sold it to them? Did they offer a good price compared to the aftermarket?

Hope it works out well for you. Personally, unless it is a non-profit, I wouldn't give a domain out to anyone. MS can afford to pay for a domain, even if it is just reg fee.
