I think it's a very cool name for a video sharing site, just like YouTube.com (that's why I bought it for $15,000 some months ago).

I didn't have time for development (still don't have), but I think video sharing is booming, and it's a perfect name for that. It's also good for many languages: english, spanish, italian, portuguese, etc : )

It is getting 372 hits a day.

How much do you think it can be worth?

Thanks ; )

This is a really nice name. Reminds me of miniclip. Not sure what it is worth so. You might consider putting a simple video sharing script up and watch the traffic grow, thus increasing the value.

yup.. i was interested in buying the domain until I saw their asking price $8,000. I assumed they increased their asking price to $15,000 as that was the price you purchased.

Anyways.. I registed tinyvideos.com for reg fee.

appraisal: probably $5k but alot higher for the right buyer.

You paid way too much.
Dot COMs have no future.
As other extensions, such as dot US, grow in acceptability,
the value of so-so dot COMs is going to drop.
They are no longer growing in value.

At first I thought that $15k might be a bit high for this domain. But the traffic you state easily justifies the price, and then some. I was surprised that "mini"videos.com gets that much natural type-in traffic. Good luck with devlopment or sale.

15k - you are an idiot, or you have way too much money

I don't think it is worth more than a few hundred bucks, tops. I can never envision myself every typing in that domain name. What the hell does it mean? Mini Videos? Small Movies? Why the heck would I want to watch a small movie, when I can watch a big movie, or just a movie. I see no connection with the IPOD video issues.

Sorry, but my $.02

You should get your head out of your butt. That is probably the stupidest thing I have read in a while. However, congradulations, you made me laugh.

Javok, I think that you paid end user price for MiniVideos.com.

If you have development plans, you've the perfect name with some nice traffic: congratulations.

My appraisal :
Reseller: mid x.xxx
End-user: low xx.xxx

Maybe a video store for PSP Movies or I am sure there will eventually be cell phone movies. Certainly a name that will gain more uses with advances in technology.

Geesh, take it easy on the name calling :undecided

With the traffic it gets and the name itself, it maybe worth the 15k you spent. With me and traffic, it all really depends on what you are making with it. Can you let us know so that we can revalue it with the rev it makes?
