500,000 Google searches for the term 'minority' in September 2008. Domain has been registered since January 1994 (almost 15 years old). Makes between $2-$3 a day with AdSense and receives around 20-30 typeins daily.

Obama's Minority Dream

I would love your professional opinions and appraisals for this domain. :)

Great name Stian,
would expect at least $25k from a reseller, up to mid $xx,xxx IMO.

Well, unlike the others, I think I would have sold it for $9,999 (if I remember correctly that was the final bid on GreatDomains).

Around 10k-12k reseller these days. Appraisal is based on my similar names and offers I have for them as well as some recent similar domain sales...

Have to agree with the latest opinions - $10k max imho

Stian, if you change your Google Keyword search options you'll see 14,800 searches on average and not 500k. This is a common mistake everyone is doing these days, you have to change the "match type" there from "broad" to "exact" and you'll find an insane difference in results.

$3 per day * 365 == $1095, so $10k is a very nice price imho. ;)

This is at least a 10k reseller...in a bad market. I would not sell for less than 20k...

Wait till a movie named 'Minority' comes out and your ppc goes to $50/per day...so the people who use the tired old ppc metrics will have to pay more...Trust me time will be your friend on this one...

My main problem is I am not sure how I would develop this name...that is why I have trouble giving it more than a 10-20k appraisal.

nice, really nice.

in the right market (right time, right place, right end-user)...

gotta be worth $25K ++ easy.

nice domain.
GOOD LUCK.

Right, I agree...end user price on this could be quite high.

Most appraisals pretty "in line" with my thoughts.

10K if you are in a hurry, up to 25K if you wait for the right buyer for a couple years.

could you elaborate? do you go to the advance search?

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it!

BTW the domain has made $8.39 with AdSense so far today (best day yet).

I don't think Obama increases the value of this domain, but I agree with the others that there's no sense in selling this one for under $10k. If you can hold onto it, it will be worth a lot more.
