Hi all,
Being a newbie, I really could use your help and advice with this.
However, since nobody seems to be interested - I will try my own analysis. Hope somebody will at least comment.
So, my own conclusion:
High: $1500
Low: $500
Realistic: $1000 - $1200
Based on: recent sales grouped by similar sale figures:
HighRange: Sales Overture score
mobilegay.com* 4000 121
mobileitx.com* 6000 -
MobilePet.com 4000 1,066
mobilecash.com* 5500 78
MobilePhoto.com 5000 875
MobileMarketer.com* 3300 -
Average 4633 357
Midrange: Sales Overture score
mobilemecca.com 1000 -
mobilerepairs.com 2500 314
mobilemogul.com* 1000 -
mobilebible.com 988 166
MobileStudio.com* 1500 396
MobileBroadcast.com 2200 -
capcommobile.com* 1000 -
MobilePub.com 1383 -
Average: 1446 110
low range SalePrice OvertureScore
MobilePOS.com 500 76
mobilefares.com 200 -
MobileQuest.com* 501 48
Average: 400 41
Weighting average overture scores, applying to average sale prices in 3 groups, and dividing by 3, I am getting the price of $ 523, which also could be related to more common price in the low range group.
Also disregarding mobilefares at $200 as anomaly, I think I could safely assume the lower range price as $500.
2-nd words in the high-range domains are all full high-impact words, and have high overture score, so I disregard the high range.
domains in the mid-range group are not as high-quality as in the high-range group, and the rating is lower.
The average overture rating of most evident variations of mobilecap is 50, which is approx half that of average score of mid-range group:
mobile cap: 48
capital mobile: 36
mobile capability: 67
which gives an estimate of 1446/2 = 723
Taking into account the possible versatility of cap, I think the realistic value could be increased to $1000:
cap, capability, capacity, capitalization, capital, captain, capacitor, capuchin
mapping to companies: capcom, cap gemini, Cap haitien (airport code)
abbreviations (tons of):
Combat Air Patrol
Civic Air Patrol
Computer Assisted Purchasing
Crisis Action Planning
...
Also I've got AfterNic appraisal, which is $2400. So, taking into account that it's supposed to be overpriced, half of it is $1200
What do you think?
