You dont agree with $500. Just out of curiosity, how much do you personaly find it worth? thx

Good name, there will be gobs of mobile media data to download
once 3g hits, prepared the future....got '3gMobiledata.com'

Dont know the value really but as soon as the 3G and the technology after it will start working with the expected users
for Mobile Media I would say 5fig for it ....maybe dreaming but not
in a hurry....I have received 4fig offers for some of my Mobilexxx.com and WirelessXXX.com names but I like to gamble and wait....ofcoz the offers were from endusers not resellers...

Hey, listen, I love the .NET! But we need to face the facts ... when and if the .NET REALLY takes off, to think that this domain will take off with it to the tune of five-figures ($$) is, in fact, dreaming. I don't want to rain on your parade, I just want to make you aware of the current (after) market conditions. Ok? Good Luck.

CoolHost thx for yr opinion like I said no idea :D but anyway it depends of the potential buyer as 5fig can start with a 1 or 9
spending lets say 10k is not really that much if the buyer is big
corp....I mean one of those that doesnt mind to pay a bit for a good name not one of those that takes customers to dinner for
the same money and tells you we cant pay you more than NSI reg fee

Isn't that what you're all about "Mr. Cool"....Pretending to look cool and objective but "raining on on anyone's parade" who's anything else than ".com" and doing so in an unsuccessfully vailed, sinister manner. Folks are not stupid here Mr. Cool. Don't pretend to be anything but another ".com is the king" advocate believing tha everything other than .com is garbage but then "hey but good luck". You're just another "alaneads" with few more words and a touch of unsuccessful political correctness.

coolhost is just being honest. i would not value the name more than $200

Whats the big deal with 3g names. I know it means 3rd generation, but are they really that popular. I had never heard of any website starting with a 3g until I came on this board.

Some brief info on 3g networks

"Way different from allaneads IMO"

Thank you, Kidkool and Domainaddict ... I appreciate the feedback (if not defense). Smile. When appraising, I try to be both candid and to offer suggestions. I'll even offer constructive criticism ... if I think it'll prove helpful. I think that's why people post here, to get these types of honest responses. I know I do.
To suggest that I'm even close to being "on the same page" as Alaneads insofar as appraising, posting comments shows a great deal of ignorance. Read the posts, read my comments, note my suggestions ... have you EVER seen me solely put "$0" for an appraisal and then not comment (as Alaneads continues to do ad infinitum)?? C'mon Desi. Observe. Think. Be reasonable before posting. Above all, be fair!
Good Luck and Merry Christmas to everyone! :)

Thank you all for yr apprs I find it funny though how many of these threads turn into member/s vs member "fights" ...

I have my own opinion of my name and I do respect another opinion even if it says 10$... you really never know the value as
I think that the only true value is what the buyer is prepared to
pay :)

I may have and have lost sales putting my sale price too high or
maybe not....and also have sold some well thanks to that ...

Actually I dont mind if people give me $0. As long as they comment why, Im gratefull to them. If they realy feel its a dud, I appreciate their comment - perhaps theyll make me realize that domain realy sux, and I wont do the same mistake again. Whats the good of domain being appraised $500, just to not offend its owner? phew.. On the other side - If domain is good, I like to see good feedback - Dont we all? But Im not that narrow minded to be offended by negative appraisal..

NOBODY SHOULD BE.
