I do see what steen is saying.... now if gay.com & sex.com got the same amount of traffic or if sex.com got even ten times more then you would probably pick gay.com because "it is" a niche & gay people tend to spend more freely than straight people (because they don't have to support a wife & kids etc) .. that's what I heard anyway.

But, sex.com is more valuable because of it's immense traffic & that you can filter the traffic anyway by just providing linsk to all the niches on the home page.

But, the quality of the traffic is still much lower because it is such a generic term & lots of kids likely type it in (read: no CC) & only cost you money for bandwidth.

How is it not fair?

All those stats were taken today, at the same time, using the same tool. How is that not a fair comparison?

Because those who would be the highest bidders are not allowed to bid!

It’s still a fair comparison! Just because high bids are lower than what would be expected they are still relative to one another.
