Anybody ever have any success with moving domains registered at namescout.com into a seperate account?. I tried creating another account at them, which seemed to work fine. I can login with no problem. But if I try to transfer a domain from my main account into the new account, I get the following error:

------------------
The Master Account you entered, does not exist.
Please enter valid Master Account.
------------------

This doesn't make much sense, considering the fact that the account does exist and I can log into it just fine.

Hello,

Yes I had the same problem, namescout has is master account system. The Master ID is not the same as login ID. You can get Your account`s Master ID -->Account Perfences-->Login Information (there EDIT) --->Then You see User Name and Password - Master ID: ........

You most Use this for the transfer,

Hope that helps

I've had that problem too, but eventually was able to transfer the name back and forth as a trial. I owe a lot to NameScout.com for grabbing some kick-butt names for me. But, after a few of those $25 renewals, my c.c. starts hurtin' bad. Carefully unlock your domain, give yourself a full 5-7+ days (they have no automatic ack-ing system) to get it done, and transfer the name to a cheaper place. They consider themselves a "premium" registrar and have no intention of lowering their price.

Yep, Stuff is right! That should solve your problems RMF. Also tranfering to another registrar from Name Scout can take up to 5-7 days.

Good luck!

I managed to move a domain into a seperate account by emailing namescout. It took about 2 days for them to do it. Im also transfering a domain to another registrar. I'm waiting for them to acknowledge the transfer. Its been 3 days now, with no email from them. I'll let you know if I have any problems with them.
