I remember right when .biz opened up their registration last year i registered net.biz then a few hours later i got a refund when it came back reserved.

That's nothing compared to people who reg .tv names and end up getting their credit cards charged thousands of dollars because they were unaware of the premium registration fees

Unlucky, did it myself with search.info not so long ago. You think you have hit the jackpot and it slaps you in the face!

I do own ChineseTaipei.info which has been referred to as too generic!

You have sort of thrown a pot of cold water on me.....

I know that NSI is the worst. When I checked whois for the names of my choice with namebargain.com (my first choice) and register.com , it did not work. NSI.com showed that the names were unregistered. So I went ahead.... Thought I was winning the Mega Million Lotto...

That's bad with .TV names.
Too bad for people who registered premium name in accident.

Please be advised that the Affilias Registry is currently down. This effects all operations of .vc,.org and .info TLD's. Affilias is aware of the problem, and is currently working to remedy the outage. This outage affects all Registrars/Resellers equally.

The Afilias Registry has been down today, that's probably why all the names looked as if they were available. They are up again now.
