closed MyThailand.com and MyQatar.com - Honest appraisals please!

MyThailand.com is a pretty strong name. If I owned it I would have to keep in the vault until I got at least 5K. This is the type of name you can get really lucky on, though. Whereas, there are names listed here where people suggest if all goes right you could get a big number, those names usually don't bring much to the table, while this one does.

I am fairly certain that someone on this forum would pay 5K, as I myself would likely offer a little below that and feel like I would be ahead of the game the moment I bought it. You are likely to get some higher appraisals than what I have suggested, but you still need a lot of things to go right to get significantly more than 5K (though it can happen with this name).

Finally, we have a name that is worthy of a wide range of appraisal values. The sky is NOT the limit though, as it is not the type of name that can likely bring a life-changing score, but it is very nice, and you could get multiples of my appraisal with a bit of good fortune.

I usually am suspect of high appraisals where people here wouldn't ever offer close to the amount they are suggesting. This is a nice name, and 5K is conservative, but I thought I would lead it off.

Any My+CountryName.com (with no hyphens) is by definition a worthy domain. The bigger the country is (the more "important" actually), the higher the offers you can expect generally speaking. MyQatar.com, there are people with a lot of money there (they won the World Soccer Cup 2022, so expect some good ones if you give it enough exposure), so it's not only MyThailand.com which should do well. A tiny country with a low population may not have anyone offering money for a similar domain, but most countries in the world will have some takers for names like yours since English is the most important language

But for Bolivia for example, MiBolivia.com may be preferred since they speak Spanish. Or even the country name preceded by my translated in their own language, but with the country's own ccTLD. MaFrance.com and MaFrance.fr are also options for France for ex

You should do very well with both names, and both should fetch in the thousands
