This domain is not one word.com but I feel good and brandable.

Pool.com got this.

Finally, winning price rised US$3,180.
Winner set up US$6,201 max bid (Proxy bid)

I intended bid around US$2K last minute.
But I did not do anything and quite surprised...

Pool.com is nice business model.

They do, and they are making me mad.

They better watch out.

Pool is too expensive. If you would have gotten mytrade.com for $2000 you would be able to make some money off it.. (in three to five years, unless you planned on reselling it)

I have found it is cheaper to simply not submit lists to pool. If they get something I want then lucky them. If I feed the pool model and they get every name and hold out to auction for three days; then you as a middle market player will not have as much opportunity to thrive. In fact. If you were to participate actively in a pool model each day for thirty days, come month end you would have been better off buying a registrar and competing against them

If the pool model grows.. then the ranks of people attending this room will be thinned substantially.

In the end the only people who benefit from Pool... is pool.

Chai, jsut how much do you think a registrar is?

I hate this arguement, but it aint cheap.

And please dont start posting links to ICANN..

Bidder is not end user but reseller.
This is the point.

End user did not know Pool.com yet.

Why player can keeping join this game and pay so much money continuance.

Critically interesting.
My domain business is still dull.

Devil, do the math... mytrade was not the best name to drop that day.. add up over many names. You could pay their own registrar partners 20% more than they could ever afford to because pool is only a middleman Nothing better for a registrar to do than sell to the people with the money.
