The whois shows owner living in colorado, and the above poster shows that he is from oregon. However in today's virtual world, it is possible to be in two places at once.

They definitely have "value", but as to a dollar figure your guess is as good as mine.

I know the prior owners were asking something like $75K, but that seemed overpriced to me.

You might be able to sell them to the .name people, though, for a nice price. :wink: They might pay a high price to try to salvage that TLD.

My highest bid to the Canadian company that owned them was $50K, but they wanted $75K. You must have paid close to that amount. With 600 unique visitors per day, I think $50K is what name.com is worth with name.net thrown in as a freebie. You paid a fair price, and should rebrand your site to Name.com to get your money's worth. The traffic alone will not sustain this domain and will not result in enough leads to your site to generate a decent return (imho). Good luck!
