Can someone help me please regarding a domain name that was on sale with NC a few days ago. I bid around £400-00 but I was pipped at the post by someone who I estimate bid around £450-00. After the bidding was over, I went to WHOIS and found the name had last been registered some time in March. To confuse things even further, a couple of days ago I received an email from NC saying the name was on sale again.

It wasn't. I checked with the live chat person.

Most confusing of all, the name is still available to be registerred at around £3,000 for the year. Has anyone any ideas as to what might have occurred here? Much appreciated and thanks.
