so Popper pm'ed you and said he was going to the hospital that night?

If he needs help paying for medical expenses, I think it would be only right to start something up....everyone would donate as much as they could. First though, I would like to know how he is doing....guys....any ideas? Does anyone live close to him?

Any word on Popper?? I'm really worried about him!

Let's hope that he is alright and that we get some news of him soon.

or is that only in movies? :-D

I work at Hospital , no information would be released ..even to family members unless popper has a "release of information "signed form in his Medical Chart , OR he may have a signed a form enabling anyone to check on his condition..

All you can do is check all the hospitals in his area..

hopefully all is well..

Didn´t Duke "talk" to him for his article about Nick in Dnjournal?
Thought he talked with him and his brother by phone?

Those interviews were done by e-mail unforunately, and Nick's brother does not have his own e-mail address. I've explored those possibilities with Duke already.

Still no leads.

Anyone from Texas that can do a little research?

Popper is a very nice guy, hope he's okay.

What about asking gregr, knows him well, also lives in T.

I did - no help.

I had the names of Nick's Dad and three brothers and did a phone search on all of them in Texas. One listing came up with the father's name and I called but it wasn't the right Steven Master - so still no luck here.

I was just doing some admin on my names past and present and noticed that a domain I had sold Nick recently had expired last week. Luckily he left my name as admin contact in the whois by mistake so I am currently talking to the registrar to try and salvage this domain for him.
If anyone has sold Nick a domain recently can you please take a few seconds to check the whois and make sure it is not close to expirery. If it is there is a chance you might be able to save it for him. I don't think he'd be too happy if, on coming out of hospital, some of his names have been lost.

Thanks.

This is a good idea. The domains on this page are Nick's pride and joy. I could use some help going through and seeing if any are past expiration.

RJ, DCG & Members of Popper-Fan-Club,
It is mighty nice of you all to look out for a fellow domainer like this. You have all my respect and true admiration for this wonderful gesture.

I don't know NamePopper, but wish him well. Needless to say, he has been in my prayers since RJ posted this thread.

Tippin my hat to y'all, and wishing Popper all the best...

Hey Slash! Nick is a very cool guy! Very upbeat and generally nice to everybody!

I am also touched by the depth of sentiment expressed toward his well being. I just pray he is ok!

Hey DotComGod, maybe we should make a habit of collecting at least one personal phone number in member registrations- to address this and any other emergency situations! Just a suggestion!

Best Regards,
WebCat

Hey WebCat,

You are now heavily overdrawn on your one suggestion per day allowance at DNF.

Now go sit in that corner. No, not here, over there in that corner -the one reads Domain Wanted Forum -yeah, right about there! And don't even think about Purring another suggestion till tomorrow. :clown:

Just pulling your tail, WebCat!

Take care,
