Good call, just wanted to make sure....we really need to get onto the NamePopper situation, anyone tried calling him @ home via whois #....does anyone answer?

Today I found a number for him on some old transactions we did. I called and left a message. Hopefully someone gets the message and can call back. I'll be sure you let you guys know.

I work at Hospital , no information would be released ..even to family members unless popper has a "release of information "signed form in his Medical Chart , OR he may have a signed a form enabling anyone to check on his condition..

All you can do is check all the hospitals in his area..

hopefully all is well..

So I understand that there is a chance that Nick signed a paper to allow anyone inquiring about his condition.

Below I listed the phone numbers of Hospital in Richardson, Texas
(on some whois of his domains I found this city) and then for Plano, Texas.

I would call myself but my English over the phone is really bad so if anyone here would like to try I am available in pay in full and by paypal all costs for the phone calls.

Plano has a local newspaper as well. I called and spoke to the editor Mike Norris yesterday. Told him Nick's story and that a lot of people were concerned about him. They are going to see if they can find out where and how he is and will get back to me if they are successful.

hope all is well NP is a class act...

very unsettling to read this thread. i have had many dealings with nick and am now very concerned.

although i live in OZ i have had some dealings with locating people in my trade. if anyone knows of a good "skip tracer" we can contact in that area , I would certainly offer some $$ to cover the costs involed.

Please let me know if this is a possible avenue to take.

regards
Mike

This gives me a cold feeling in the pit of my stomach!

I pray Nick is ok!

I don't know what to say!? I've been following this thread almost everyday and did not--could not!--post a reply because I felt it would have been inappropriate since I never knew the man. But your outpouring of sincere and heartfelt concerns--from all over the globe!--for his well being have touched me in such a way that . . . .
Now I must also wish him well becuse I intend to get to know him.

Hey Baron! Nick is just one of those guys who always has something nice to say, or a funny line.

Even when you argue with him, he can make you smile or laugh as you are yelling at him, LOL!

When I was a new member many moons ago, he reached right out and warmly welcomed me, and became my friend.

As you can tell, he has been missed! And we all hope he is ok!

Nick was a class act. My first encounter when him was when he PM'ed me for doing something wrong....I appologized (I was a newbie) and he became really friendly with me. At times he would just PM me out of the blue asking if everything was going well. I also talked to him late in July and he explained he was having problems but he would try and check in as much as possible. I really hope Nick is ok, he was one of the friendliest people I have ever met....on a forum or otherwise.....

A bit premature to be talking about him in the past tense, isn't it GT? We are all concerned, but let's do our best to stay optimistic and assume he is on a cruise around the world until we hear differently.

Okay ... English Language 101:

Past Tense is used to a) describe something that actually happened in the past or b) imply a detachment from reality.

Correction: Nick is a class act.
