I am negociating to buy a .co.uk domain. As you know, it is very complicated to get full control of these domains (you have to pay fees, sign all kind of contracts, etc).

Seller says that he can push the domain and I will have control over it, and that the Nominet process is only for changing the whois info.

So, what would happen if I buy the domain, and then sell it again? Would the new buyer have any problems if he doesn't go through all the Nominet process? Any advice on how to deal with a .co.uk domain?

Pushing the domain will give you control of the domain but NOT ownership. You won't actually own the domain until you complete the proper transfer process (and pay the associated nominet fees). Same goes if you decide to resell the name at a later date.

There’s no way around it :goofy:

Good Luck

yeah its alot different to owning a .com or any of the others. they send you a nice certificate of ownership and send you a code so you can login to there site and edit your details. good luck with getting it sorted
