Need advice on buying a .INFO

I'm looking at buying a one-word .INFO which gets good Overture results.

The seller is asking me to make an offer. What do you think would be an acceptable opening offer for a good one-word .INFO?

Just an average (or median) price or price range will do, from your own experience and/or knowledge.

Commercially strong one-word .info should sell for at least $2k, but depending on how bullish the seller is, up to $15k.

There is no average or median price, since unlike the mass driven stock market, the value of a domain is highly dependent on the specific and subjective whims of just one person.

How big is the market for that word ? Is that market growing ?

Scroll down far anough and you'll find the info's. Most are German but it still gives a good idea.
From the little description you gave I would start around 500 but if you really want it expect to pay up to a few thousand.
