need advice on which extention to choose, tlds are gone

Hi,

I have a choice for an extention

.ws .cc or .tv

I have a great idea to develop a website and those are the only extentions left

which would be the best to choose?

It would be for a 4 letter word in which I would place the subdomain infront. for example if I had the domain
recipies.com I could put chilli.recipies.com or soup.recipies.com etc...

Would have to say with these three it isn't going to make a great deal of difference as everything is going to be in the development and marketing. If it was me I would probably go for the .ws simply as there are more .ws sites now coming onto line and there is the tenuous association with "website".

If you are targeting the mainstream American audience, I would definitely go for .tv, esp. if it is even remotely related to selling on TV like some consumer products. You'll get a free ride with .tv's own promotion campaign (e.g. Verisign is still hard selling .tv with their GreatDomains.com). Good luck.
