Sites are in different categories, all US non adult. The way we optimize now is keyword in title, description, heading and 3 or 4 times in the text. We also have the keyword as the anchor text in the link from the site map. They used to rank really well but now they hardly rank at all after the last algo changes. Sites are about 100 pages or so. We have many sites, let me know if you can help.
