ok, i am new to redhat, just installed it. I have not programming knowledge and I do not know all the technical terms or abbreviations. here is my problem. I installed everything just fine. When i tried to configure my ethernet it gives me an error "cannot activate network device eth7!'
what the heck does that mean and how do i fix it? i talked to sbc yahoo tech support, but they are not trained in linux and can't help me, but the guy did say that ethernet was not configured properly. how do i configure it properly.
Please help me. I would like to discuss this by phone or by yim or icq. Please pm me if you can help.
