I might pick up a domain name. Its two words and its a .com
138 people searched for those exact two words on overtures search engine in march. What do you think it could be worth based on what I just told you.

Also, I may pick up a .two word .org that 7888 people searched for the exact two words in march. Should I pick it up?

I wouldn't buy a .org or .net name solely because Overture has searches on it. But the 7000 searches is appealing. Are all ext. gone?

for the one with 7888 searches....the .com, .net and .info are taken

Unless the .org really suits the domain (i.e. you could see it being used by a non profit) then I'd pass on that.

The number of overture results for the .com suggests it isn't a strong term - so I'd think carefully about that one too. Does it have an obvious potential purchaser base?

Sometimes companies want a name just to keep it from another company that has an equal right to it. If they are all legit companies and not resellers one of them will want it.
