.Net VS .ORG

I know this is basic domains 101 but please list your opinions.

It really depends on the name itself. Some words better go with .org, but I have to say that .net has long been overrated, probably because most earlier domain registrants are working in computer related fields.

people generally dont rember the extn., so its best to go for a .com which may not be as good as the available .net domain..

By default people look for .com & you might lose some of youir traffic to the one who has the .com..

.orgs are favored much more over .net and more valuable surely
.net is the "b*stard child" and will lose alot of type-ins to .com where as the .org has it's own clear identity in almost everyones mind and recall ability...for development .com/.org

.net without a doubt. Anyone who believes otherwise, is swayed by their own holdings. However I will agree, in some instances the .org extension is more 'appropriate'. Still wouldn't say more 'valuable'.

.org owners for years have had delusions of grandeur when it comes to their names being compared to the .net counterpart.
