Thanks eeedc, I'll read the sample pdf soon. This para from a review at Amazon was interesting:
"The book is definitely worth the price if you are planning on buying a domain name from a cybersquatter or speculator. After reading this book, I was able to confidently and logically negotiate a fair price from a speculator for the domain name I wanted. "

Lets all chip in, buy one, scan it, and share the pages. That way we all know how to combat people who have read this book. :D

errr, would that be considered copywrite violation? :D :D

Sample PDF has good breakdown of the chapters in the book. Seems like good read for anyone interested or new to domain names. But $50 is an awful lot for a book.

Q: Dear Sir, I am interested in your domain name. Is it for sale, and what price are you looking for?
A: Before I reply to your e-mail, please advise if you have read 'the book'?

48 pages for $50 - it's probably already been copied onto the net.
Can't be much in it either.

I wonder how they tell you to reply to a simple "sorry that's not enough".

Wow! I've just read the pdf and am amazed that he can get away with $50 for it.

Still he says the average value of domain names is $1,000 which is good to know as I've got well over 250 at the moment. I'm not greedy though, if anyone wants to offer me $100,000 for them all, I'll force myself to sell them.

registration at $35 and buying at auction. Thank goodness he hasn't told them the sensible way to buy names.

Most people on this board could put together 48 pages before bedtime. I bet his mother reviewed it for him, and his PhD is from www.instantdegrees.com

p.s. if you decide to get your PhD there too, let me know and I'll give you my affiliate link first. LOL

Is it written by the domainguru? Seems like something he could sell.
