New Downloadable IDN Conversion Tool

It's a great tool.
And it will be better if users can convert IDN domains with extension.

Tried it with Greek letters and it looks correct. The only thing that I'd suggest is adding a notice that only the keyword should be entered and not the TLD.

I will get it to work tomorrow with tld and cctld's.

Thanks for the feedback.

New version tomorrow.

If anyone else has feedback, please post it.

I have 2 other tools ready for release as well.

Hey,

I am a little unclear as to the suggestion made.
The tool already works with the tld in the conversion. :)

Hmm..I entered an IDN domain with .COM appended and it showed error at the "C". Conversion worked fine with just the domain sans TLD.

If the tld is not capitalized it works fine.

try that and see if that works.

In the meantime I will look into getting it fixed.

so:

отец.com works
отец.COM does not

Test Using only word with no .com attached.

Domainsite.com and Enom.com are able to view both puny code and IDN. Some registrars do not show conversions.

My problem is trying to figure out what language my one characters are derived from.

成品.com Domainsite.com
Test results:
xn--jvrp32a Showed me 2 boxes

ả.com Enom.com
Test results:
xn--pkg Showed me ả

.

You don't have the Chinese language pack installed.

Awesome. I like these sweet and simple tools.

There are some issues with the IDN Converter.
I think it probably has something to do with the conversion algorithm and not the software.

Par example:
xn--1waaa gives you ΝΝΝ, instead of ννν

In math terms, the conversion produces non-unique results.
Can you get me the link to the math source? I'll try to check it out.

I suspect it's a minor issue, and in general your program is fine.
