Google the best way is to get a link on a site that is already listed in google and it will get yours added.

Just do some link promoting and put some high PR sites on yours and you will eventually get in.

well, not as easy as you might think , linking is a great way to start , here is one tip , every link you put out there ,free or paid , use the same main keywords you are trying to get listed for on all the links , and not your website url as the links , in other words if you are promoting WeSellGoodShoes.com , the text links you have out there might all read "Best Prices on Discount Shoes" , say "discount shoes" being your main keywords. Then your site should have a certain density of those keywords "discount shoes" in the title and meta tags , also throughout the pages on the site , maybe use those keywords 2 or 3 times on each page in the text , this is a good way to start anyhow.
