Yes, I have heard about it. As the tool itselfs reads, it is for "entertainment purposes only". Don't rely on it, but it is not that it is nonsense... A few of the predictions do turn out to be right.

You can predict PR yourself by using the Google Toolbar, the internet explorer cache and knowledge of Google datacentres.

Google recalculates inbound links and PR every few days, but these do not show in the backlink count, and PR will not appear to update (even though it has), until Google decides to update toolbar PR, which is pretty low on their agenda.

Can you prove that Google actually calculates PR every few days?

Check all the Google Servers for any PR update.

And you can predict it, but not as easily as suggested.
