I figured if adam owns NicheWebsites.com it must be worth registering.

common misconception by many:

to make generalized assumption that because someone of notoriety owns a specific domain, then if they get a domain with one or more of same keywords....then it must be worthy.

this is same flawed logic of sending spam emails to other domain holders who happen to have domains with same "keywords" entered in email address gathering queries.

that being said, unless you do what he did, then.....

Good Luck!

imo...

Very true and a very good point. Being involved in SEO and web design for the last 10 years like many of us, the reason for purchasing the domain was not that adam had the website version, it was due to the context of the keywords in the domain. I am figuring that each day new young professionals try to enter the SEM / SEO field and they are in need of methods of developing traffic and finding targeted niches. So what are they looking for first.

So in regards of the premises that I simply bought the domain due to Adam owning the nichewebsites.com is false, just thought it was a plus.

I hear what you're saying but...

new young professionals aren't professionals yet....if they are in need of methods to develop traffic strategies.

they are just novices, trying to learn.

again, Good Luck!
