A vanity domain is a numeric domain that represents a word. For example: Taxi.mobi would be 8294.mobi or 8299444.mobi depending on if you count all keystrokes or not. There has been a lot of speculation regarding these types of domains and no one knows for sure how successful they will be in the future.
