I have a number of domains with Nominate.com because they are a registrar
working with SnapNames.

I tried to create a new account with them to push a name into that
I am selling.

It took two emails over a 5 day period to get a simple answer.

They want me to download a waiver sheet and fax it to them in London.
And, they will act on it with 48 hours.

I decided that it would be easier for me and my customer to just transfer
it to my Enom acct. And, then transfer ownership.

I have a number of domains at Nominate because of SnapNames.

However, I have decided that I am going to transfer them out of Nominate
before I have real problems.

Has anyone else had problems with Nominate?

Yes I screwed up once and tried to transfer to godaddy before the 60 day rule. After the 60 day rule transfer was smooth as silk

Same as you - they are a pain the ass to deal with. I had to send the fax to England to transfer ownership of a domain. If I weren;t stuck there once in awhile via SnapNames I would never use them.

never heard of them

Today, is Nov. 17th.

I did the first transfer request on Nov. 10th and it is still floating.

I complained to Enom the other day. They answered me today.
Saying they are looking into it. ????

I am sure Nominate is "roadblocking" the transfer.

Once, I get this transfer done. I will initiate a transfer for all of the
other names.

I thought about transferring them to Network Sol. for the free transfer.
But, I think its like moving from "the frying pan into the fire".
