On the contrary, quote sober at the moment. I didn't pull this number out of thin air. It's actually based on market research and statistical models using hundreds of domain sales across the entire net. If you choose not to believe the numbers, then you choose not to believe the market, not me.

Plural is a serious negative aspect to this domain IMO - profit is singular, you make a profit or not, not profits. It is also very general - an organisation can be "non-profit" but being called by the name "nonprofits" seems odd to me. Unless you can identify a specific need to fill (eg someone covering both bases - non-profit & non-profits), I do not see any real value.

You are right, profit(s) is a unusual use of the word and it does count against the name's value. Then again, this could be a web site that lists services for or a directory of "nonprofits"

Right, after thinking about it, 'nonprofits' is actually not too unusual a term as nonprofits appears to be a jargon type of term used in the non-profit charitable organization industry to define themselves, i.e. nonprofits are tax exempt, a direcory of all non-profits, etc.

I think the name is good and seems to have some value but still can't appraise the name as not real familiar with org.uk values, and also not sure if the term is as commonly used in the U.K. as in the U.S.?

"It's a nonprofit outfit" would not be unusual to hear in the UK, but i've never heard the term nonprofits. It could be used as some sort of directory listing non profit making organisations, but it just doesn't sound quite right.
