On May 24–26, 2026, it.com Domains participated in Nordic Domain Days 2026, held in Stockholm, Sweden. Andrey Insarov, Founder and CEO of it.com Domains, Alessandro Baruffi, Director of International Partnerships, Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, and Rolandas Japertas, Business Development Manager, represented our company at the event.
Nordic Domain Days is one of the leading international conferences for the domain name industry, bringing together registries, registrars, resellers, investors, hosting providers, and service companies from around the world. Designed to encourage in-person interaction, the event combines expert-led sessions, keynote speeches, networking opportunities, and social activities that foster collaboration across the industry.
The it.com Domains team has participated in Nordic Domain Days since 2024, making this year’s edition another valuable opportunity to reconnect with partners, strengthen existing relationships, and engage with new stakeholders from across the domain ecosystem.
This year’s program featured keynote speeches from industry leaders, expert discussions, informative sessions, and workshops designed to encourage deeper interaction between participants. Particular attention was given to industry trends, business growth opportunities, infrastructure development, and the future of the internet and domain ecosystem.
Our team took part in meetings, informal discussions, and networking activities, exchanging expertise and gaining fresh perspectives from peers across different sectors of the industry. One of the key topics of discussion for the team was the upcoming New gTLD (generic top-level domain) Round and the opportunities it offers for brands, organizations, and communities planning to launch their own domain extension. For those exploring the process of applying for and operating a top-level domain, additional practical guidance is available in the book How to Get Your Own Top-Level Domain: An Insider’s Guide to ICANN’s Application Process, co-authored by Joe Alagna and Andrey Insarov, Founder and CEO of it.com Domains.
During the meetings, the team presented the Registry Service Provider (RSP) platform, a robust infrastructure that helps organizations effectively manage their own domain extensions. Ahead of the new gTLD round, the team shared experiences, discussed the technical and operational aspects of TLD launches, and explained how future applicants can prepare for the ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) application process.

Nordic Domain Days creates the kind of environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally. It’s meetings like these that help us better understand the market and refine our solutions, including the RSP platform, to meet the real needs of future domain extension operators,
said Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development.
