I have an offer of $500 USD for ForexTutor.com. List price is $1499.

First offer $500
First Counter $1400

Second offer $500 - with a comment "this is my final offer"

What happens next?

Hi

if, you're willing to let this potential walk,
then counter offer.

if, you want the cash that's on the table, then accept the offer and hope they follow thru.

for your consideration:
forextutorial.com is listed for sale @ $14k
forextutor.net is parked

imo....

a little background..

Purchased at snapnames.com for $61 in 2006.
Turned down $500 offer in 2006. $500 is the highest offer I've had.

Your listing price is borderline reseller price for such a name.

Comparable sales:

FOREXTRAINING.COM $959 @ sedo.com
FOREXGUIDE.COM $7,750 @snapnames
FOREXADVISOR.COM $4,555 @ Godaddy.

Easily worth north of $1K.

Hi

forexguide.com listed for sale @ $125K
forextraining.com listed for sale @ $32K
forexadvisor.com listed for sale @ $999.9K

from what i've seen,
most of the registered names in this niche` are parked and listed for sale.
the forex trend had reached it's peak a couple of years ago, right before the crypto craze, which is where all the sucker money is going now.

your name is about the best pairing, at the price listed,
and if nobody is willing to bid higher than $500 over the years, then.....

BTW: what's the traffic stats on the domain, are you getting any visitors/ clicks, etc.

imo....

Low four figures is a deal. Domain has 10 to 12 uniques / month, earns about .50 per click; no cost to hold it.
