Old pending delete lists?

I just got an offer for a name @ Sedo & I was sure I renewed it several months ago but when I checked the whois I noticed it was registered to someone else.... (The offer is currently @ 750 Euro.. ) so as you can imagine I'm pretty ticked off, especially seeing as I could really do with that extra cash right now...

So I was wondering if there was a way I could confirm that the name did actually drop?

How can I confirm it was dropped from looking at the whois & not just renewed?

Yes.. I found some of them but couldn't find any receipts paying for renewal, which makes me think I didn't renew it, unless I deleted the email for sonme reason..
