Registrar termination would not be enough here. What we need is registrar euthanasia.

moniker has gone from most secure registrar to some shell where now domainers must go daily to check that nothing has been stolen. very sad indeed.

Indeed. Moniker used to be considered a fort, where the extreme opposite would happen: if you wanted to transfer a domain out, you had to go through several instances of security blocks.
