OpenOffice.org Question

I have a Microsoft Excel Script for people to download and use, my question is, if people don't have Excel on their computer, can they download open office for free and still view and use my Excel Script?

Need to know asap please, so I can refer people to OpenOffice.org

If the file is in standard xls format then yes, it will work with openoffice.

Its hit or miss - I'd say download Open Office and try it.

The basics are compatible but you might run into issues if you have VB / macros incorporated into it.

I have yet to try open office but will download it onto a laptop that has no office suite.

What is the Open Office version of Word?
